Surfing Seniors Need Big Boards

A website targeting seniors needs to be easy to use with a strong call to action. Fireman Creative designed a very senior-friendly website a few years ago for Agewell Pittsburgh (part of the Jewish Association on Aging) an organization that helps seniors live well by connecting them with caregivers, places to socialize and extra support when they need it. We used large, bold buttons and icons with clear instructions that make navigating easy. Users can change text size, and easily print pages. We even made audio recordings of the text read by our friend Wendy Bell at WTAE and created a step by step instructional video on using the site.
