Warming Hearts
In March of 2019, Oakland Avenue was transformed into a winter wonderland filled with a brand new light installation, live ice sculpting and music, and street curling for attendees to enjoy. That included seeing an epic showdown between two infamous Pittsburgh mascots.
OBID hired Fireman Creative to conceive, design, and manage the event and the promotion. We created an enticing live logo designed to communicate the twinkling winter feel of Icy Lights and built a brand and marketing campaign around it. We used different social media tactics, including a geo-targeting campaign, to draw in Oakland residents and employees as well as those in nearby neighborhoods.
