Real People, Real Community
OBID hired Fireman Creative to design and execute a new community-centered communication strategy for Oakland to showcase the faces of their neighborhood. The project included designing a logo and branding, 15 two-sided banners along Forbes and coordinating a photoshoot with real people who live and work in Oakland. Our goal was to represent the diversity that exists in Oakland in profession, ethnicity, background, and more. We created an “Oakland Revealed” logo that could be catered to the diverse audience it would represent and built a brand around that. We also recruited a wide array of photoshoot participants to showcase all that the Oakland neighborhood has to offer.
