School’s Out for Summer!
Everyone has heard about Christmas in July. But what about Halloween in June?
On Friday, June 19, Evaline Industries is hosting their first summer Halloween party. It’s one part book launch, one part live concert featuring members of Alice Cooper and Blue Oyster Cult. All parts weird fun.
This is Pittsburgh’s chance to party with the crew that helped invent glam rock.
Voted by SPIN Magazine as one of the best parties in America, Evaline Industries is taking the same magic they put into their legendary Halloween parties and putting it into the Evaline Book Release Party, Costume Cabal & Concert. With a little help from their friends Dennis Dunaway and Michael Bruce of Alice Cooper, and Joe and Albert Bouchard of Blue Oyster Cult, this is bound to be one of the most unforgettable and unique events in Pittsburgh this summer.
The book “Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs! : My Adventures in the Alice Cooper Group” is Dunaway’s riveting account of the band’s creation in the ’60s, strange glory in the ’70s, and the legendary characters they met along the way.
The Evaline Costume Cabal will feature all of the fun of their nationally-acclaimed Halloween parties including themed rooms, tents full of food and drinks, a wooden rollercoaster, conceptual art, live music, book signings, and more. Tickets are $40 when you preorder the book and give you access to food and unlimited adult beverages. The Costume Cabal kicks off on June 19 from 8:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m at 426 S. Evaline St. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
