Fireman Creative is currently looking to hire a senior PHP developer to join our team to help create web applications. The job is for full time employment, 5 days per week Monday thru Friday in our office on the South Side of Pittsburgh, PA. The job includes competitive compensation, benefits, and some work hour flexibility. The ideal candidate will have experience creating imaginative, compelling and forward thinking interactive experiences.

Required Skills:

  • Expert in PHP and WordPress development a plus
  • Knowledge of PHP MVC frameworks (CodeIgniter and Sympfony2)
  • Expert in JavaScript and js libraries including jQuery
  • Strong knowledge of UI principles and conceptual skills to bring designs and ideas to life
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/LESS, & Responsive Web design
  • Knowledge of capabilities & constraints of different platforms, browsers, and devices
  • Working command of shell/bash unix scripts
  • Understanding of Git version control and git commands
  • Linux Server administration
