New Flag Pole Thanks to Joyce
Recently we at the Firehouse have been having some trouble with our flagpole. Every so often the wind, which is pretty constant down Penn Ave, will wrap the flag up into an unidentifiable bundle that Paul and Walker will have to go and unravel using a ladder to reach it.
Joyce Arrigo, our friendly, local crossing guard at Penn and Lang noticed our problem and adeptly solved it by purchasing a pivoting, anti-wrap flag pole for the Firehouse. Walker installed it today and the result is magnificent as you can see for yourself in the picture below. We thank Joyce for her valuable service keeping the community safe and very thoughtful gift. Be sure to keep an eye out next time you pass the Firehouse to see our flag blowing, tangle-free, in the wind!
